Some Fashions Never Go Out of Style: Volume 1

By no means am I a fashionista...I'm more like a wanna-be recyclista.  "What's that?" you ask.  It's someone who wants to wear timeless fashions made from things she found headed for the landfill or someone's yard sale.  I'm not always successful and that is most likely because I haven't really tried it much.  I've decided to change all that.  I will be telling you about fashions from the past, their updated counterparts and I how I hope to make it happen.  I'll keep you updated on the progress.

LBD (Little Black Dress):  This is a Coco Chanel creation.  It will be around forever.

A few months back...ok, maybe a year ago...I picked up a magazine because it had the most adorable LBD on the cover made from two men's black tuxedo shirts.  I recently unearthed from the craft room abyss
rediscovered this magazine and am anxious to try it out.  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any info on this article online so you will have to take my word for it that it's adorable.  Now I just need to find two black tuxedo shirts in a size that will fit this curvaceous figure of mine.

  4. Cindi, Cindi, Cindi, you sure made my heart swell with pride with the comment about God blessing us. You are so right. The most wonderful thing about the blog world is how I see what God had done through it. How he has used it to bring people together, to heal aches, to bring smiles to the isolated or lonely and most of all to share his word. It There are feels wonderful to be around so much love and kindness when we are mostly bombarded with so much negativity.

Thanks again for my first award and all your loving support and kindness. You are a gift!

And I love those new LBD because they have such a beautiful vintage style. I especially love the chiffon.

    Have a fun weekend. xxxooo's....Tracy :)
