I Wanna Know...

Apparently...there are a lot of you lurking out there.  Google analytics tells me that I have had well over 200 unique visitors since December 10, 2009.  What?!?  Are you kidding me?  Why aren't these people talking to me?  I get maybe 2 or 3 comments per post.  Now I don't post only to get comments, but a little feedback would be nice.  I have nearly 40 followers and not all of them are leaving comments either.  By the way, to all those who are so kind as to comment or even look at this humble blog... I'm truly thankful.  I just want to know if I'm doing something wrong, or right, or what.

Trust me, there are many times I read a blog and the don't comment.  I feel I don't have anything to add to the conversation.  I'm trying to get past that, even if I just say "Thanks" or "That post made me smile."  So...here are a few questions I hope some of you will answer for me so I get a better idea of who is out there reading my ramblings.  Answer one or two or all....it's up to you!

  1. Do you call yourself a Christian?  If so, how long have you identified yourself that way?

  2. Are you between the ages of 18 and 81?

  3. Which country/state do you live in?

  4. Are you married? single? parent? grandparent?

  5. Do you like me or do you just wish I would shut up?

That's it for now.  I have a post I want to put up about "grace" and what the Bible says about it, but I'm waiting for someone to get back to me on a question I had.

In the words of Steven Curtis Chapman...climb a mountain and shout, this is life we've been given meant to be lived out, so la la la live out loud!

  3. A Christian, married, under the age of 81 and older than 18 ; ), and your blog seems nice from what I've seen so far.

I have no idea on the comment stuff. It often perplexes me too. Perhaps a lot of the visits are from people looking for info. but not wanting to join in on the conversation?

There are some really popular blogs out there that only get a handful of comments. Then there are some that get TONS, but they're mostly one liners or the type where you can tell they didn't really the post. I'd rather get the kind where they at least read what I wrote, otherwise what's the point?

Maybe comments will perk up for both of us soon : ) Oh, and nice to meet you.
